Chemistry is a science, which involves the study of the composition and properties of the matter. The reaction between different chemicals is known as chemical reactions. Chemistry is often called the central science because of its role in connecting the physical sciences, which include chemistry, with the life sciences and applied sciences such as medicine and engineering. Basic chemical reactions are always around us as well as within our bodies. It is useful in all branches of science. Even for the concepts without science, chemistry can improve understanding of that concept. Chemistry is built on understanding of laws of physics that govern particles such as atoms, protons, electrons, thermodynamics etc., but it has not been fully reduced to quantum mechanics.
Concepts of periodic elements and chemical bonding in chemistry are emergent concepts and are most underlying forces, that are defined by physics. Chemistry is used in other sciences such as Physics, Biology, Engineering, Electronics, Pharmaceuticals etc. A matter is made of atoms, bonds, reaction and energy to react and this makes chemistry. It is a field with applications in multiple areas like organic, inorganic, physical, surface, polymer, analytical; photo chemistry etc. Chemistry also finds its applications in medicinal, food, industrial fields in our daily life. It also involves arrangement of molecules in regular symmetry and chirality in nature. Organic molecules are those most often chiral. Chemistry forms most of organic component of our life as it form the basic structure of carbohydrates, proteins, amino-acids etc.
