 Dr. Aleksandar Jovanovic is a Professor of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the University of Nicosia Medical School, Cyprus. His research interest is cardioprotection. One of the highlights of his work so far was uncovering cardioprotective properties of SUR2A, an atypical ABC protein that serves as a regulatory subunit of the sarcolemmal KATP channel. |
